Trek to the summit of Mt. Rinjani on this 4-night guided hiking tour from either Senaru or Sembalun village. Mt. Rinjani is the second-highest volcano in Indonesia and is still active. During the trek, enjoy amazing views of sunrises and sunsets, and look for the Milky Way on clear evenings. Trek to the summit of Mt Rinjani on this 3 day small group, guided hike from Senaru village. Mt Rinjani is the second highest volcano in Indonesia and is still active.  You will have amazing views of glistening sunrises and sunsets, you may even see the Milky Way on a clear evening.
You will trek up to the Senaru & Sembalun Crater Rims. Take a swim in the hot springs and lake before descending down through the tropical rainforest the next day.

Upon arrival you will be picked up from Lombok Airport or your local Lombok accommodation, you will then be transferred to your hotel for your first night’s accommodation in Senaru or Sembalun.  You will then be given a briefing on your 3 day trek by your professional guide.

Day 1: Sembalun (1100m) – Sembalun crater rim (2639m)
Wake up at 7:00am and have breakfast before registering at the Rinjani information center. Your trek starts from Sembalun village at 8:00am. Beginning with a gentle ascent through open grassland. After around 2 hours of walking you will reach position one (1300m), after another 40 mins you will be at position two (1500m). You will continue walking to position three (1800m) and have lunch here.
After lunch and a rest, you will head to Sembalun crater rim (2639m). It takes 3 hours including a prolonged steep climb. Camp at the Crater Rim for the night and enjoy the amazing views of the sunset, sunrise and maybe even the Milky Way.

Day 2: Sembalun crater rim (2639m) – Summit (3726m) - Segara Anak Lake and Hot Spring (2000m) – Senaru crater rim (2641m)
You will be woken up around 2:00am with hot drinks and a light breakfast before you start climbing to the Rinjani Summit at 3:00am. Beginning with a moderate climb, followed by a fairly easy but longer walk. The final approach to the summit involves a steep climb over loose volcanic scree before reaching the summit at 6.00am to enjoy excellent panorama views of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa Island and Segara Anak Lake.
You will then descend back down to the Sembalun crater rim in around 2 hours and have breakfast down there before continuing your journey down to the lake and hot springs. The trail down is steep and a bit slippery and takes 2.5 hours to descend. Enjoy a swim in the lake and soak in the hot springs while your porters prepare your lunch.  After lunch climb to the Senaru crater rim (2641m) where you will camp for the night. The Senaru crater rim has the second most spectacular view after the summit where you can see an incredible sunset over Mt. Agung.

Day 3: Senaru crater rim (2641m) – Senaru village (601m)
Your final day on Mt. Rinjani is a relaxing one. After breakfast you will trek down to Senaru village through the tropical forest. If you are lucky you might see a rare black monkey. It takes around 5 hours to descend and rest stops and lunch will be taken along the way. Upon arrival at the Senaru Village you will be transported to the airport or your accommodation.

You will trek up to the Sembalun Crater Rim on day 1 and then up to the summit on day 2 before your descent back down to the bottom.

This trek is for experienced trekkers or for people with excellent fitness levels who are able to hike up and down for an average of 8.5 hours per day.

Embark on a 2-day guided hike to the top of an active volcano on this trekking tour from Lombok. Climb to the top of Mt Rinjani, hike around the Senaru crater rim, and enjoy a spectacular sunset view of Mt Agung. This small-group tour includes hotel or airport transfers from Lombok, two nights hotel and camping accommodation, and meals. No climbing experience is necessary.

Your 2-night tour begins with pickup from Lombok Airport or your central Lombok hotel (pickup times are flexible and will be confirmed on booking), and a transfer to your first night’s accommodation in Senaru or Sembalun. On arrival, you will meet your guide and be given a rundown of the tour itinerary, before being left to enjoy your first evening independently. 

Day 1: Senaru village (601m) - Crater Rim Senaru (2641m)
Wake up at 6:30am and have breakfast at your hotel, before walking to the Rinjani Trek Centre (around 10 minutes walk from the hotel) to register. Start your guided trek at 8am and begin by walking through dense tropical rainforest, stopping along the way to admire exotic birds and butterflies. Stop for a break at the Montong Satas shelter (4,921 feet/1,500m) and refuel with a cup of tea with some biscuits, then continue the ascent for another 2 hours up to Mondokan Lolak (6,562 feet/2,000m), where you'll have lunch.

After lunch, continue for another 2 hours to the Senaru crater rim (8,665 feet/2,641m). The Senaru crater offers a spectacular viewpoint from which you can watch the sunset over Mt Agung and the rest of Bali. You will camp here for the night.

Day 2: Crater Rim Senaru (2641m) - Senaru village (601m)
After breakfast and watching the sunrise, leave Mt Rinjani and hike back down to Senaru village through the rainforest, keeping a look out for rare black monkeys. The return trek takes around 5 hours and you will stop for lunch along the way.

On return to Senaru Village in the mid afternoon, your tour ends with a transfer to Lombok airport or your hotel.

Experience a 4-hour small group Mataram City Tour encompassing attractions such as Mayura Water Place which was built in 1744 and once was part of the impressive Balinese Kingdom. Meru Temple, the oldest Hindu temple on the island of Lombok, built by King Anak Agung Made Karang in 1720. This temple complex includes three temples being Brahma Temple, Shiva Temple and Vishnu Temple. This temple has become a symbol of the universe and the respect for the three major gods of the Hindu religion. The last place you will visit is Narmada. Narmada Park was built in 1727 as a replica of Segara Lake and Mount Rinjani.

Your Guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 9am. Your journey will start by visiting Mayura Water Palace where you will arrive around 10am and will have approximately 30 minutes to enjoy the Water Place.

Continue your trip to Meru Temple, as in Mayura you will also have 30 minutes to explore the Meru Temple.

Leaving Meru Temple at 11:30am you will head to Narmada Park arriving at 12 noon. You will have time to enjoy the park spending around 1 hour here before heading back to your hotel. Arrive back to your hotel at approximately 1:30pm – 2pm.

The journey begins with a visit Banyumulek, a pottery village in Lombok.
In this village we can see the direct manufacture of pottery and chose various forms of potteries.
Next stop is Sukarare village, renowned for its traditional hand weaving of brightly patterned songket, ikat and sarong cloth. Continue our journey to Sade village, one of the tribe villages that are indigenous Sasak people of Lombok. When you arrive in the Sade Village you will get a glimpse of the traditional Sasak life. 
After lunch, the last stop is the magnificent Tanjung Aan Beach. Enjoy the pepper sand beach and turquoise water until your return transfer back to hotel.

 

Morning pick up from your hotel lobby, our English-speaking guide will take you to visit Banyumulek Village, a pottery village in Lombok. A woman caress a future pot skillfully with her muddy hand, or other Lombok pottery stuffs that are having in drying process are view that you will see here. Making pottery is a job that has been done for Sasak Lombok tribe for generations. The job has been able to move the village economic wheel and attract many visitors and buyers to come to this village. Your eyes will be spoiled by the various kinds of Lombok pottery with various shape, size, color, functions and uniqueness. All of it is done without using any measurement tool but only with heart.

Next stop is the Sukarare Village, a village of traditional weavers. The most popular product is the very colorful and intricately patterned songket cloth. The production of this fabric which include techniques, patterns and motifs involve age-old traditions that have been handed down through generations. Not only you enjoy the chance of seeing authentic Indonesian weaving done but also get to buy woven textiles that are much cheaper than shops. 

Continue our journey to visit Sade Village, it is one of the tribe villages that are indigenous Sasak people of Lombok. The building is still very traditional in this village every building is made of wood and bamboo for it walls and thatched roofs. Rice granary are also a typical building here that we can find in some houses. Sade Village is a great place to visit to get a glimpse of the traditional Sasak life.

After enjoying the uniqueness of Sade Village we proceed to Kuta area for lunch at a local restaurant (not included). After lunch, we proceed to visit one of the beaches that should be in your Lombok tourism list, Tanjung Aan Beach. This beach is perfect for those who are looking for a perfect beach to swim. A magnificent view of Tanjung Aan, turquoise water, the pepper sand beach with smooth flowing medium height wave. You can tan your skin and grab young coconut that you can buy there. There is opportunity to do snorkeling and gears are available for hire at own cost.

After swimming and beach activities, you will be transferred back to hotel.
